Crypto exchange OKX, together with the analytics platform TradingView, has announced a large-scale trading tournament, "Race for a Million x2." This is not just another trader competition, but a hybrid format that for the first time combines both the digital asset market and traditional stock instruments. Participants will compete for a solid prize pool exceeding 1,000,000 USDT, as well as additional bonuses in the form of TradingView subscriptions and invitations to a closed VIP event at OKX.
Tournament Structure: Two Rankings, Two Chances to Win
The key feature of the race is the division of participants into two independent rankings. The first is based on the volume of cryptocurrency trading on both the spot market and derivatives. The second ranking takes into account trades in tokenized stocks xStocks and perpetual futures on stock instruments. A trader can participate in both standings simultaneously, increasing their chances of receiving payouts from two different prize pools.
Registration for the tournament starts on August 25 and will run until September 30, 2026. The main trading phase will take place from September 1 to September 30, 2026. Both periods are synchronized in time — the countdown begins at 15:00 Moscow time. It is important to note that to enter the cryptocurrency ranking, you must trade at least 1,000,000 USDT, while the threshold for the stock standings is lower — from 100,000 USDT for xStocks and futures. An additional condition is having at least 100 USDT on your balance at the time of the start.
Prize Pool Distribution
The main cash prize of 900,000 USDT will be distributed among the top 50 traders in the cryptocurrency ranking. The winner will receive up to 270,000 USDT (30% of the pool), and the distribution is structured so that the majority of the funds go to the top five. Second place will bring up to 180,000 USDT, third place — up to 135,000 USDT. Participants ranked from 11th to 50th will receive 0.25% of the pool each, which amounts to up to 2,250 USDT.
The second prize pool of 100,000 USDT will be distributed among the top 10 stock traders. Here, the leader will take up to 25,000 USDT (25% of the pool). In this standings, rewards will be paid out in selected xStocks — XNVDA, XAAPL, XTSLA, XGOOGL, and XAMZN. Final positions are determined by individual trading volume in each ranking.
Bonuses, Subscriptions, and Restrictions
In addition to cash payouts, OKX is giving away 50 TradingView subscriptions. Five annual Ultimate subscriptions will go to the leaders in 1st–3rd places in the crypto ranking and 1st–2nd places in the stock ranking. Another 15 annual Premium subscriptions will be received by participants ranked 4th–15th in the crypto ranking and 3rd–5th in the stock ranking. The remaining 30 monthly Premium subscriptions will be distributed among positions 16–40 in crypto and 6–10 in xStocks.
A separate bonus of 10 USDT will be credited to the first 500 traders who link their OKX and TradingView accounts and make at least one trade through the service interface. The ranking leaders will also receive invitations to a closed VIP event at OKX — the date and conditions will be announced separately by the organizers.
Participation is available to new and existing OKX users with a fee level from VIP 1 to VIP 8. Geography is restricted: users from countries listed in clause 2.2 of the OKX Terms of Service are not eligible for the campaign. To participate, you must click the "Participate" button, complete identity verification (KYC), and maintain at least 100 USDT on your balance. The organizers warn against multi-accounting, fictitious trades, and manipulation — violators will be disqualified without payouts. Rewards are credited in the form of trading bonuses within 15 business days after the tournament ends.
My view: OKX is once again demonstrating a trendsetting approach, blurring the lines between the crypto and stock markets. For experienced traders, this is an excellent opportunity to diversify their activity, but beginners should remember: high volumes required to reach the top demand serious capital and discipline. The tournament will definitely intensify competition among professional participants.
