Brian Armstrong: Bitcoin found a bottom around $60,000

CEO Coinbase Brian Armstrong

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong suggested that the current bitcoin correction may have reached a local minimum near the $60,000 mark. However, he emphasized that there is no complete certainty about this — the market remains volatile, and any forecasts carry risk.

Armstrong confirmed that he maintains a long position in the asset, viewing bitcoin as "new digital gold." According to his estimate, by 2030, the cryptocurrency could show significantly higher levels. The analyst links this dynamic to the historical four-year halving cycle, which traditionally precedes phases of bullish growth.

Analytical Perspective

From a fundamental analysis standpoint, the $60,000 mark indeed looks like an important support level. It coincides with previous consolidation zones and the average entry price of many large investors. However, I would not rush to call this the final bottom — the market could test lower levels if the macroeconomic backdrop worsens. Nevertheless, the long-term trend remains upward, and Armstrong's position is logical for those looking at a 5–7 year horizon.
