Analytical Review: Coinbase CEO Points to $60,000 as a Possible Bitcoin "Bottom"

The head of the largest American crypto exchange Coinbase, Brian Armstrong, suggested that Bitcoin has likely reached its local bottom around $60,000. However, he noted that there is no 100% certainty in this — market dynamics remain extremely volatile.
Armstrong confirmed that he maintains a long position on the first cryptocurrency, viewing it as "new digital gold." He predicts significant price growth by 2030, linking his assessment to the traditional four-year halving cycle. In his opinion, historical patterns indicate that after the block reward is reduced, the asset consistently updates its highs.
From a fundamental analysis perspective, the $60,000 mark indeed looks like a logical support zone. It coincides with the previous all-time high (2021) and a psychologically significant level. However, I would not rule out short-term drawdowns amid macroeconomic uncertainty and regulatory risks. Nevertheless, the long-term trend, supported by institutional adoption and limited supply, remains bullish.
