This incident, in my view, will act as a catalyst for capital flow into decentralized alternatives.
On June 12, the U.S. government imposed a ban on foreign citizens using Anthropic's Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models. In response, the company was forced to temporarily disable these AI systems for all users — a measure that vividly demonstrates how fragile dependence on a single decision-making center can be.
As I previously anticipated, artificial intelligence is turning into a strategic economic resource, and the concentration of control in the hands of a few corporations or officials creates unacceptable vulnerabilities. Against this backdrop, the TAO token of the Bittensor platform surged by 30% within 12 hours — a market reaction that speaks for itself.
Bittensor is essentially a decentralized counterpart to closed AI laboratories. The project provides access to computing power through a global open network without intermediaries, fundamentally changing the model of interaction with AI.
