HYPE-ETF has reached a new level: trading volume has exceeded $900 million, and capital inflows are intensifying.

Just one month after the launch of spot HYPE-ETFs, the total trading volume of these instruments has approached $900 million. The net inflow of funds into the funds from 21Shares, Bitwise, and Grayscale amounted to $153 million — a strong signal of institutional interest in the Hyperliquid ecosystem.

A key feature of Hyperliquid is its fee distribution mechanism: about 97% of all trading fees are directed to a support fund, creating an automatic buyback of HYPE tokens. Increased activity on the platform directly boosts demand for the asset — this is a closed loop that intensifies monetary pressure on supply.

All three ETFs support staking with a yield of approximately 2.25% per annum. Currently, 434 million HYPE are locked, representing 45% of the available supply. Such a high staking ratio indicates long-term confidence among holders.

An additional catalyst for the ecosystem was the IPO of SpaceX. On the day Elon Musk's shares were listed on the exchange, the trading volume of the perpetual contract SPCX on Hyperliquid reached $1.4 billion. This instrument accounted for 30% of all activity in the user markets segment (HIP-3), confirming that Hyperliquid is becoming a key platform for trading alternative assets.

At the time of writing, HYPE is trading at $72.9, showing an increase of 11.4% over the day. In May, Hyperliquid's share of the derivatives market reached a record 6.63% of the total turnover of centralized exchanges — $200 million out of $3 trillion.

Expert commentary: The growth of HYPE-ETFs and the inflow of $153 million is not just a speculative impulse, but a structural shift. Hyperliquid demonstrates a unique model where derivative activity directly fuels demand for the underlying asset through a buyback mechanism. If this trend continues, HYPE could become one of the key benchmarks in the DeFi infrastructure segment.
