Massive accumulation: investors bought nearly 260,000 BTC during the drop below $60,000
The Bitcoin (BTC) market has shown an impressive surge in buying activity after the price of the leading cryptocurrency dropped below the $60,000 mark in early June. Analysis of the UTXO Realized Price Distribution data shows that investors have net purchased nearly 260,000 BTC over ten days.
Since June 5, the total purchase volume has amounted to 259,298 BTC in the range from $59,000 to $67,000. This massive accumulation has affected all holder groups—from small retail investors with balances under 1 BTC to large participants holding up to 1,000 coins.
Accumulation indicator reaches a maximum
A key metric confirming this trend is the Accumulation Trend Score from Glassnode. This indicator, which considers wallet sizes and the volume of coins acquired over the last 15 days, has reached a maximum value of 1.0. Such a level signals exceptionally strong and uniform buying pressure.
Notably, from March to May, when Bitcoin was trading near $70,000, most holder groups were net sellers. The current reversal indicates a drastic shift in sentiment: investors are actively using the correction to enter positions.
The most powerful accumulation wave during the entire downturn
The aggregate accumulation trend score has remained at a peak level for over two weeks. This points to aggressive buying that encompasses all market participants, not just large players. In my assessment, the current picture reflects the strongest accumulation during the entire ongoing correction.
The fact that demand is recovering simultaneously across all levels of the market hierarchy, and not only from institutional investors, suggests a return of broad interest in Bitcoin as an asset. This is an extremely positive signal for future price dynamics, as it forms a solid support base.
Expert opinion: Mass buying on the dip is a classic sign that the market perceives current levels as an attractive zone for long-term investments. If this trend persists, we may see the formation of a new upward impulse in the coming weeks.
