NVIDIA is deploying 35 AI supercomputers in Europe: a new phase of digital infrastructure

NVIDIA has officially announced the large-scale deployment of 35 supercomputers focused on artificial intelligence and high-performance computing (HPC) across 23 European countries. According to the company, this is the largest annual expansion of supercomputing infrastructure in the region's history. It is expected that over 3 million researchers will gain access to the new systems, fundamentally transforming the landscape of scientific and commercial computing in Europe.

This platform allows for the effective combination of quantum processors and simulations with the power of GPU supercomputers, creating hybrid quantum-classical systems.

This architecture addresses a key challenge of modern quantum computing — the limited number of qubits and high noise levels. Thanks to CUDA-Q, researchers will be able to simulate quantum algorithms on classical GPUs and then transfer them to real quantum devices, accelerating the transition from theory to practice.
