The XRP market continues to face sustained selling pressure. An analysis of data from the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, conducted using a specialized indicator, points to a lack of real buying demand capable of reversing the current downtrend.

What On-Chain Metrics Show

The key tool for assessing the situation is the Binance XRP CVD Confirmation Score indicator. It combines price dynamics with cumulative volume delta (CVD) data. CVD, in turn, measures the net difference between executed buy and sell orders, allowing an assessment of whether the current trend is supported by real liquidity flows.

In recent months, the XRP price has fallen from levels above $2 to around $1.07. During this same period, the CVD indicator on Binance dropped to approximately -6.93 million. This directly reflects the predominance of market sell orders over buy orders.

The 30-day Price-CVD Confirmation Score has stabilized near 0.84. Although this number can be considered relatively positive, it does not indicate sufficient buyer strength to reverse the trend. The relationship between price and order flow remains intact, but the balance is still tilted in favor of sellers, reinforcing the downward momentum.

Forecast and Possible Scenarios

The continued presence of CVD in negative territory increases the likelihood of only a weak short-term impulse, rather than a full reversal. The lack of noticeable improvement in the Confirmation Score only strengthens this picture.

However, an alternative scenario should not be ruled out. A sustained recovery in CVD could shift the balance of power in the market. A key signal would be this indicator moving into positive territory, combined with a rise in the Confirmation Score. Such a shift could be the first sign of returning demand for XRP and an influx of fresh liquidity, which would, in turn, support a broader price recovery.

Expert opinion: Until we see a sustained positive signal from CVD, any upward movement in XRP is likely to be corrective in nature against a generally bearish backdrop. Traders should closely monitor this indicator in conjunction with volume—it will provide the first hint of a change in sentiment.
