On-chain data analysis from the world's largest crypto exchange indicates that XRP continues to experience sustained selling pressure. A key indicator, combining price dynamics with cumulative volume delta (CVD), shows a lack of real buying demand necessary for a trend reversal.

The Binance XRP CVD Confirmation Score metric, which merges price action with data on the net difference between executed buy and sell orders, records a clear advantage for sellers. Over the past few months, the XRP price has consistently declined — from levels above $2 to around $1.07. Concurrently, the CVD indicator has dropped to approximately -6.93 million, vividly reflecting the dominance of aggressive selling on the Binance spot market.

The 30-day Price-CVD Confirmation Score has stabilized near 0.84. While this number can be interpreted as relatively positive, it by no means indicates sufficient buyer strength to change the direction. The relationship between price and order flow persists, but current liquidity flows still favor sellers, solidifying the downtrend.

What to expect next?

The CVD remaining in negative territory increases the likelihood of a short-term downward impulse. The lack of noticeable improvement in the confirmation indicator only reinforces this bearish scenario. However, the market abhors certainty, and an alternative scenario also exists.

A sustained recovery in CVD could radically change the balance of power. A critical signal would be the indicator moving into positive territory, combined with a rise in the Confirmation Score. Such a shift could be the first sign of returning demand for XRP and an influx of fresh liquidity capable of supporting a broader price recovery. For now, in my assessment, the scales tip in favor of sellers, and far more convincing on-chain signals are needed to form a bullish impulse.
