Starting August 1, Trump Media & Technology Group, the operator of the social network Truth Social, is launching paid API access for institutional clients. This service will allow traders to receive posts from U.S. President Donald Trump with a delay of "milliseconds" before they become available to the platform's general audience.

The company has not yet disclosed the subscription cost, but the strategy is clear: monetizing the information advantage. Given that Trump is the largest shareholder of Trump Media, he directly profits from every such decision. Essentially, his statements are turning into a highly liquid asset, access to which is sold at a premium price.

Analytical Perspective

For the crypto market, this is a landmark precedent. While traders previously relied on public tweets or posts from politicians, we are now witnessing the creation of an exclusive data channel where speed is the decisive factor. Given that Trump's statements have repeatedly triggered sharp market movements, such a tool could become a powerful lever for institutions, but it will simultaneously widen the gap between retail and professional participants.

As an analyst, I would note that this model is a step toward the tokenization of information flows. In the future, we will likely see similar solutions from other public figures, where access to their content is sold as a service tied to market data.
