Analysis of on-chain data from Binance reveals a pronounced two-sided dynamic. The inflow of stablecoins to the exchange has surged by 506% relative to the 90-day average. This refers to daily inflows exceeding $72 million. This is a colossal volume of liquidity, which typically precedes active buying.

At the same time, Ethereum is "quietly leaving" the exchange. Over the past two weeks, the net outflow of ETH has consistently remained in negative territory. Additionally, the share of coins locked in staking has reached a new all-time high of 33.48%. More and more supply is leaving the liquid market, reducing the volume available for trading.

It is important to understand that the current situation is fundamentally different from previous cycles. Previously, price was driven by aggressive leverage and futures speculation. Now, funding rates on Binance have cooled by 31% over the week, indicating preparation for spot trading rather than leveraged play. This is a more mature and patient positioning.

The accumulation of stablecoins against the backdrop of a shrinking liquid supply of ETH is not a sign of recklessness, but a signal of readiness from major players. Historically, such a configuration has preceded periods of increased volatility and directional price movements.
