Chainlink (LINK) to $200: an ambitious forecast amid the tokenization boom

RWA tokenization

My market analysis indicates that Chainlink (LINK) is at the epicenter of a structural shift in the crypto industry. Recently, I revisited the long-term valuation model for this asset and concluded that by the end of 2030, LINK could reach the $200 mark. This implies nearly a 25-fold increase from current levels around $8, and such potential is directly tied to the protocol's key role in the infrastructure of tokenized assets (RWA).

In my view, Chainlink is not just an oracle for smart contracts but, in essence, the only end-to-end platform capable of supporting the full lifecycle of tokenized assets—from issuance to compliance. As traditional finance moves real-world assets on-chain, the market will require reliable external data, secure cross-chain interoperability, and tools for meeting regulatory requirements. This is where Chainlink holds a dominant position.

My forecast also accounts for exponential growth in network fee revenue. I expect Chainlink's fee generation to increase roughly 25-fold by 2030. This is not merely a speculative figure—the protocol's services already count giants like SWIFT, DTCC, Euroclear, JPMorgan, Mastercard, UBS, Fidelity, and S&P Global among their users. Such institutional adoption is a powerful signal.

However, I must also highlight the risks that could adjust this scenario. First, the pace of institutional tokenization may be slower than expected. Second, competition from specialized providers that could carve out niches in individual segments cannot be ruled out. Finally, technical failures or configuration errors could undermine trust in the platform, which is critical for an infrastructure project.

Notably, the volume of RWA on lending platforms and DEXs has already grown to $7.4 billion in the second quarter, up from $2.3 billion a year earlier. This confirms that the tokenization trend is gaining momentum, and Chainlink appears to be one of the main beneficiaries. In my professional opinion, if current dynamics hold, the $200 target price is a realistic, albeit ambitious, benchmark worth considering within a long-term horizon.
