UK-based payment platform Decta has made a strategic move toward digital assets by integrating the USDC stablecoin into its internal treasury infrastructure. This decision marks another stage of institutional adoption — now not just as an investment tool, but as an operational asset for liquidity management.

A key element of the innovation is a partnership with financial infrastructure provider OpenPayd. It is through its technology platform that Decta will convert fiat funds into USDC and back, as well as conduct cross-border settlements between its divisions. This approach allows bypassing slow and expensive traditional banking corridors, which are especially relevant for international transfers.
