Tokenized stocks: explosive growth in the number of holders by 124% in a month

RWA tokenization

The market for tokenized securities is demonstrating impressive momentum, leaving no doubt about the growing interest of institutional and retail investors in real-world assets (RWA) on the blockchain. Over the past 30 days, the number of unique addresses holding tokenized stocks has increased by 124%, reaching 1.31 million. This is not just a statistical spike—it is a signal of a structural shift in the perception of digital equivalents of traditional financial instruments.

Particular attention deserves the volume of transfers: over the month, it jumped by nearly 180%, reaching $23.13 billion. Such activity indicates that capital is not merely accumulating on balances but is actively moving, which is characteristic of a maturing and liquid market forming. The number of active addresses also grew by 34.6%, totaling 572,000, confirming sustained interest rather than a one-off speculative wave.

The total distributed value of digitized securities increased by 5.9% and is now estimated at $2.38 billion. Although this growth looks more modest against the backdrop of the surge in holder numbers, it points to a more cautious revaluation of underlying assets, which may be linked to volatility in traditional markets.

In my view, we are witnessing the beginning of mass adoption of tokenization as a standard for liquid public instruments. The doubling of holder numbers in such a short period is not an anomaly but a natural stage when infrastructure becomes sufficiently reliable and jurisdictional barriers become surmountable. In the coming quarters, further consolidation should be expected, and those projects that can ensure real compatibility with classical exchanges will gain the maximum advantage.
