The market for tokenized stocks is exploding: the number of holders has grown by 124% in a month.

The real-world asset (RWA) tokenization sector is demonstrating impressive momentum, leaving no doubt about the growing interest of institutional and retail investors in digital securities. Over the past 30 days, the number of unique addresses holding tokenized stocks increased by 124%, reaching 1.31 million. This is not just a statistical leap—it is a signal of a structural shift in how the market perceives traditional instruments.
The volume of monthly transfers in this segment grew by nearly 180%, reaching a substantial $23.13 billion. Such activity indicates that liquidity is flowing from classical exchange channels into decentralized protocols, where tokenized securities trade around the clock and without intermediaries. The number of active addresses over the month rose by 34.6%, settling at 572,000—this confirms that the growth is not speculative but based on real operational use.
The total distributed value of digitized securities increased by 5.9% and is now estimated at $2.38 billion. Although this metric grows more slowly than activity indicators, it reflects capital accumulation in long-term positions. Investors are not just trading—they are holding assets, which creates a solid foundation for further market expansion.
It is particularly telling that the growth in the number of holders outpaces the growth in value by several times. This points to the democratization of access: tokenization allows purchasing shares in major issuers with a minimal entry threshold, attracting a new wave of participants previously cut off from the stock market.
My analysis: We are witnessing only the beginning of the exponential adoption phase. If the current pace persists, by the end of the quarter the volume of distributed value could exceed $3 billion, and the number of holders could approach 2 million. However, investors should keep an eye on regulatory initiatives: they will be the key factor determining whether this surge turns into a sustainable trend or remains a local episode of volatility.
