India's technology sector is making an ambitious leap into the future: QpiAI has launched its own quantum processor manufacturing facility in Bangalore. This is not just another laboratory, but a full-fledged factory capable of producing superconducting "flip-chips" with architectures of up to 128 qubits at the initial stage. Scaling Strategy

Particular attention is being paid to research not only into superconducting qubits but also photonic and semiconductor qubits. This diversified approach reduces risks associated with technological uncertainty and allows QpiAI to flexibly adapt to future breakthroughs in physics.

For the crypto industry, this is a signal that cannot be ignored. Quantum computers with 10,000 qubits are capable of breaking classical encryption algorithms, including RSA and ECC, which underpin the security of blockchain networks. Although a practical threat is still several years away, the emergence of such manufacturing facilities accelerates the need to transition to post-quantum cryptography.
