The American spot Bitcoin ETF market is experiencing an impressive surge in institutional interest. Over the past eight consecutive trading sessions, there has been a steady net capital inflow, totaling $2.8 billion. This signals a consolidation of confidence among major players in the long-term potential of the first cryptocurrency, despite volatility.

The key driver of this dynamic has been BlackRock's flagship product, the IBIT fund. It accounted for the vast majority of the funds attracted: $2.02 billion out of the total. This concentration confirms the dominance of the issuer with the greatest authority among conservative investors, who prefer to minimize risks through trusted brands.

Record figures amid market correction

Particularly telling is the day of August 26, when the daily inflow reached $232 million. This occurred at a time when the digital asset market showed mixed dynamics, indicating a selective approach by institutions: they are actively building positions through regulated instruments, ignoring short-term price fluctuations.

Since the launch of these products in January, the total volume of funds attracted has reached an impressive $54.7 billion. For comparison, this exceeds the assets of many traditional hedge funds and underscores the rapid integration of Bitcoin into mainstream investment portfolios.

My analysis shows that the current inflow streak is not a coincidence but a result of a structural shift. Investors are increasingly viewing Bitcoin as a defensive asset amid macroeconomic uncertainty, and ETFs are becoming their primary bridge to this exposure. If the pace continues, we could see new all-time highs in total AUM within the coming weeks, which would create additional supply pressure and likely push the price higher.
