The largest crypto conference of the year returns to Singapore. TOKEN2049 will take place on October 7–8 at Marina Bay Sands, bringing together over 25,000 attendees and representatives from more than 7,000 companies across 160 countries. Organizers have already revealed the first hundred speakers, betting on institutional players who are currently shaping the direction of the entire industry.
The event will occupy all five floors of the legendary Marina Bay Sands complex. This is not just a conference, but a full-fledged ecosystem: from content tracks and networking to a wellness zone and live formats. The scale is impressive — organizers are clearly aiming to turn Singapore into the global capital of digital assets for a few days.
Who will take the stage and what to expect from institutional players
The first hundred speakers have already been confirmed, and the lineup speaks for itself. Among the speakers are Polymarket founder and CEO Shayne Coplan, Hyperliquid Labs CEO Jeff Yan, as well as Nasdaq Chair and CEO Adena Friedman. The impressive list is rounded out by Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson.
Other big names also deserve special attention. The Trump Organization Executive Vice President Eric Trump, Real Vision co-founder and CEO Raoul Pal, and Fundstrat Managing Partner and Head of Research Tom Lee will speak at the event. This lineup confirms that the crypto industry has finally gone mainstream, and its events attract attention not only from industry players but also from representatives of traditional elites.
The key focus of this edition is the participation of the largest financial institutions. Top executives from BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Nasdaq, NYSE, CME, and Franklin Templeton are expected at the venue. This is a clear signal: institutional money is not just eyeing the market but actively shaping its agenda.
TOKEN2049 co-founder Alex Fiskum explained that the Dubai edition has been postponed to 2027, so all the focus this year is on Singapore. Demand is enormous: more than 70% of exhibition space has already been booked. According to Fiskum, in the coming weeks organizers will introduce new thematic tracks and formats, expanding the institutional part of the program.
TOKEN2049 Week: what else will be included in the program
The 2026 program features the second edition of TOKEN2049 Origins, a 36-hour hackathon, and the return of the NEXUS startup competition. Registration and applications are already open. This year, finalists will be judged by leading venture funds — Dragonfly, Multicoin, and Maelstrom.
During TOKEN2049 Week, more than 1,000 events will take place across the city — from conferences and hackathons to investor meetings, meetups, and networking receptions. Other major events that week include the Digital Asset Summit Asia, Sui Basecamp, Network State Conference, Milken Institute Asia Summit, and Forbes Global CEO Conference. All of this will unfold against the backdrop of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, adding extra drive to the event.
Tickets at the early-bird Happy Bird rate are already on sale. Details are available on the official TOKEN2049 Singapore page.
TOKEN2049 is the world's leading series of crypto events, bringing together decision-makers in the global digital asset industry. It is where connections are made, ideas are exchanged, and the market is shaped.
Expert view: The postponement of the Dubai edition and the focus on Singapore is not a coincidence but a reflection of real capital dynamics. The Asia-Pacific region is now becoming the main arena for institutional adoption of digital assets, and TOKEN2049 is turning into a barometer of where the industry will head over the next 12–18 months.
