Asia's largest crypto conference is once again gathering the industry's elite: on October 7–8, Marina Bay Sands will become the epicenter of global discussions on digital assets. Organizers have already revealed the first hundred speakers, betting on institutional giants and opinion leaders.

The event will occupy all five floors of the legendary complex, turning it into a multi-level space for business meetings, live formats, and networking. The scale is impressive: 25,000 attendees are expected, representing more than 7,000 companies from 160 countries worldwide.

Who will take the stage and what to expect from institutional players

The speaker lineup is already setting the tone. Among the confirmed names are Polymarket founder and CEO Shane Coplan, Hyperliquid Labs head Jeff Yan, and Nasdaq Chair and CEO Adena Friedman. Representatives of traditional finance are also present: Jenny Johnson from Franklin Templeton is on the list.

Other notable figures also draw attention: Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization Eric Trump, Real Vision co-founder Raoul Pal, and Fundstrat Head of Research Tom Lee. This mix confirms that the boundaries between classical finance and the crypto industry are blurring before our eyes.

The main focus of this edition is the presence of top executives from BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Nasdaq, NYSE, and CME. Their participation signals the market's maturity and the growing interest in digital assets from the planet's largest players.

TOKEN2049 co-founder Alex Fiskum explained that the Dubai event has been postponed to 2027, so all focus this year is on Singapore. Demand is enormous: more than 70% of exhibition space has already been booked. In the coming weeks, organizers will present new thematic tracks, expanding the institutional part of the program.

What else will be part of TOKEN2049 week

The 2026 program includes the second edition of TOKEN2049 Origins—a 36-hour hackathon—as well as the return of the NEXUS startup competition. Registration is open, and finalists will be judged by leading venture funds Dragonfly, Multicoin, and Maelstrom.

Throughout the week, more than 1,000 events will take place in the city: from conferences and hackathons to investor meetings and private receptions. Against this backdrop, the Digital Asset Summit Asia, Sui Basecamp, Network State Conference, Milstein Institute Asia Summit, and Forbes Global CEO Conference will unfold—all coinciding with the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix stage.

Tickets at the early-bird Happy Bird rate are already available on the official TOKEN2049 Singapore page.

My take: postponing Dubai and concentrating on Singapore is a strategically sound move. The Asian region is currently setting the pace for blockchain adoption, and the participation of mainstream giants like Nasdaq and BlackRock finally cements TOKEN2049's status as the main platform for dialogue between traditional finance and the crypto industry. This is not just a conference—it is a barometer of sentiment for the entire market in the coming quarters.
