The largest crypto conference of the year will once again occupy all five floors of Singapore's Marina Bay Sands. The event is scheduled for October 7–8 and, according to my data, will gather around 25,000 attendees representing more than 7,000 companies from 160 countries. Organizers have already revealed the first hundred speakers, placing a clear emphasis on institutional players.
The scale is impressive: all five floors of the venue will be fully utilized for content, networking, wellness zones, live formats, and guest activities. This is not just a conference but a full-fledged ecosystem for meetings and deals.
Who will speak and who is expected among institutions
Among the confirmed speakers are Polymarket founder and CEO Shayne Coplan, Hyperliquid Labs CEO Jeff Yan, as well as Nasdaq Chair and CEO Adena Friedman. Representatives of traditional finance are also present: Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson is on the list as well.
The program also features other notable figures: The Trump Organization Executive Vice President Eric Trump, Real Vision co-founder and CEO Raoul Pal, and Fundstrat Managing Partner and Head of Research Tom Lee. However, the key focus for organizers is on the participation of top executives from BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Nasdaq, NYSE, CME, and Franklin Templeton.
TOKEN2049 co-founder Alex Fiskum explained that the Dubai edition has been postponed to 2027, so all focus this year is on Singapore. Demand is enormous: more than 70% of the exhibition space has already been booked. In the coming weeks, organizers will unveil new thematic tracks and formats, expanding the institutional part of the program. The team is clearly preparing for a record-breaking turnout.
What else will happen during TOKEN2049 week
The 2026 program includes the second edition of TOKEN2049 Origins, a 36-hour hackathon, and the return of the NEXUS startup competition. Registration and applications are already open for both programs. This year, finalists will be judged by leading venture funds Dragonfly, Multicoin, and Maelstrom.
During TOKEN2049 week, more than 1,000 events will take place across the city—from conferences and hackathons to investor meetings, meetups, and networking receptions. Other major events that week include Digital Asset Summit Asia, Sui Basecamp, Network State Conference, Milken Institute Asia Summit, and Forbes Global CEO Conference. All of them will coincide with the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix weekend, adding extra momentum.
Tickets at the early-bird Happy Bird rate are already on sale. Details and tickets are available on the TOKEN2049 Singapore page.
TOKEN2049 is the world's leading crypto event series, bringing together decision-makers in the global digital asset industry. It is a meeting place for founders, executives, institutions, investors, developers, and government representatives from around the world.
My take: Postponing the Dubai edition and concentrating on Singapore is a strategically sound move. Amid growing institutional interest in digital assets, it is precisely such platforms that become catalysts for major deals and partnerships. The presence of Nasdaq and BlackRock is a clear signal that the crypto industry is finally entering a phase of maturity.
