The crypto stock market has exploded: SPCX's debut with a $2.1 trillion market cap has rewritten the rules of the game.

SpaceX (SPCX) shares made a triumphant market entry, instantly taking the leading position among all crypto-related stocks. On the first day of trading, the price surged 19.22% to $160.95, and the company's market capitalization reached an astounding $2.1 trillion.

With this result, SpaceX left all competitors far behind. For context, second-place Tesla is valued at $1.52 trillion, and trading volume for SPCX on the first day amounted to an impressive $85.32 billion.

Following Tesla in the ranking were long-standing players in the crypto industry. Broker Robinhood (HOOD) rose 1.04% with a market cap of $83.92 billion, while the largest corporate Bitcoin holder Strategy (MSTR) gained 3.18%, reaching $43.45 billion.

However, not all stocks closed the day in positive territory. Exchange Coinbase (COIN) shares, with a market cap of $42.1 billion, fell 0.41%, and stablecoin USDC issuer Circle (CRCL) dropped the most among the top-tier list, losing 5.8% and falling to $19.35 billion.

What this debut means for the market

The emergence of SPCX instantly reshaped the balance of power: one company surpassed all other sector participants combined in market capitalization. This reflects enormous investor interest in the most anticipated listing of the year and cements SpaceX as a new benchmark for the entire crypto stock segment.

However, it is worth noting that we are observing only the first day of trading, when the volume of freely circulating shares is minimal and volatility is at its peak. How sustainable such a high valuation will be will be shown by the upcoming trading sessions.

My analysis: The SPCX debut is not just news but a tectonic shift. It demonstrates that the market is willing to pay a premium for brand and future technological breakthroughs, not just for current dividends or profits. I expect to see a correction in the coming weeks, but the long-term trend toward SpaceX's dominance in this sector is already established.
