Market Analysis: Why the $60,000 Mark Could Become a Key Support Level for Bitcoin

During a recent discussion of the market dynamics of the first cryptocurrency, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong suggested that Bitcoin has likely already reached a local "bottom" around $60,000. However, he noted that there is no absolute certainty in this scenario, and the market remains subject to volatility.
Armstrong confirmed that he maintains a long position in the asset, arguing this with his belief in Bitcoin's long-term potential. He consistently calls it "new digital gold"—an asset that should eventually replace traditional safe-haven instruments in institutional investors' portfolios. According to his estimate, by 2030 we will see significantly higher price levels, which is directly linked to the historical four-year halving cycle.
From my perspective, the $60,000 mark is indeed a psychologically significant zone where the interests of long-term holders and short-term speculators intersect. However, it is premature to talk about a full trend reversal: macroeconomic uncertainty and regulatory risks are still putting pressure on the market. Nevertheless, if Bitcoin holds above this level in the coming weeks, we may see the formation of a new upward momentum, especially against the backdrop of expectations for the next halving.
