Brian Armstrong: The $60,000 level could be a local bottom for Bitcoin

CEO Coinbase Brian Armstrong

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong suggested that Bitcoin has likely already reached its local bottom around $60,000. However, he emphasized that there is no complete certainty about this, and the market retains an element of uncertainty.

Armstrong confirmed that he maintains a long position in the first cryptocurrency, viewing it as "new digital gold." According to his forecasts, by 2030 we will see significantly higher price levels, which is directly linked to the historical four-year halving cycle. This mechanism, in the expert's opinion, continues to have a fundamental impact on supply dynamics and, consequently, on the long-term value of the asset.

Analytical Perspective

From my professional point of view, Armstrong's statement is not just an optimistic forecast, but a reflection of real macroeconomic and structural factors. The $60,000 level could indeed serve as strong support, given that it coincides with a previous consolidation zone and a psychologically significant mark. However, it is important to remember that the cryptocurrency market is extremely volatile, and any "bottom" estimates must be supported by analysis of trading volumes and institutional investor behavior. In current conditions, with the halving already behind us and institutional interest growing, I am inclined to believe that $60,000 is more of a lower boundary of a new trading range rather than the final cycle bottom.
