Brian Armstrong: The $60,000 level could be the "bottom" for Bitcoin, but there are no guarantees.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong suggested that Bitcoin has likely already reached a local bottom around $60,000. However, he emphasized that there is no complete certainty about this — the market remains volatile, and any forecasts carry risk.
Armstrong confirmed that he personally maintains a long position in the first cryptocurrency. He characterizes Bitcoin as "new digital gold" and expects significant price growth by 2030. In his view, the asset's valuation is directly linked to the historical four-year halving cycle, which traditionally sets the trend for a bull market.
From a fundamental analysis perspective, the $60,000 mark appears to be a logical support zone after the correction from all-time highs. However, it is worth remembering that the cryptocurrency market is subject to external macroeconomic factors, including Fed policy and regulatory changes. My analysis shows that to confirm the "bottom," Bitcoin needs to consolidate above $65,000 with sustained trading volume — only this would reduce the likelihood of a retest of lower levels.
