Three altcoins setting the trend in the third week of June: analysis of TAO, ZEC, and WBT
This week, my attention was drawn to three altcoins — Bittensor (TAO), Zcash (ZEC), and WhiteBIT Coin (WBT). Each posted double-digit gains and approached critical Fibonacci retracement levels, making them key to watch in the coming days.
Over the past seven days, TAO gained 28.3%, ZEC rose 21.3%, and WBT added 20.2%. However, there is more to this rally than just market euphoria. The charts of all three coins show a similar pattern: a confident rise hitting important technical thresholds.
Bittensor (TAO): Channel Breakout with Volume
TAO is trading around $273 after a 28.3% weekly surge. On June 13, the price reclaimed the 0.236 Fibonacci level near $236, after which quotes reached the middle of an ascending parallel channel that has been forming since November 2025. The breakout was accompanied by a noticeable increase in trading volume — indicating genuine participant interest rather than random volatility. The BBWP indicator also signals momentum building.
The nearest resistance is at the 0.382 Fibonacci level, around $294. Next are the 0.5 level at $341 and the high under the 0.618 level — near $388. Support sits at $236, while the channel's lower boundary at $187 remains the structural floor. If the daily close falls back below $236, the bullish scenario weakens. As long as the level holds, TAO is targeting the next hurdles.
Zcash (ZEC): Bounce from Accumulation Zone
ZEC is trading around $531 after a 21.3% weekly gain. In spring, the price moved upward but stalled near the 0.786 Fibonacci level around $629 — where a head and shoulders reversal pattern formed. The pattern triggered a decline, leading to a deep correction. The price returned to the accumulation zone near $240, which held from February to April. The pullback was accompanied by very large volumes — a signal that supply was absorbed.
ZEC managed to recover to the 0.618 Fibonacci level around $533. This zone coincides with the local high from late December. Additional support for the rally comes from a bullish MACD signal. The chart mirrors Zcash's previous breakout pattern. If the price closes above $533 on the daily timeframe, the path to $629 opens. Otherwise, a decline to the 0.5 Fibonacci level around $467, or the 0.382 level near $400, is highly likely.
WhiteBIT Coin (WBT): V-Shaped Bounce and Resistance Zone
WBT is trading near $55 after a 20.2% weekly gain. The price moved upward within a rising channel until May 27, then sharply declined and tested support around $42. The drop was followed by a sharp V-shaped bounce — the coin gained about 30% from the low. WBT has now established itself above the 0.382 and 0.5 Fibonacci levels — $51 and $53, respectively — which now act as support.
The key test awaits at the 0.618 Fibonacci level around $56. This zone coincides with the lower area of the broken channel. If the price holds above, it could open the path to 0.786 near $60 and the all-time high of $64.43 — a scenario similar to WhiteBIT's previous channel breakout. The RSI has recovered from oversold territory to a neutral reading around 60, signaling room for movement before overbought conditions.
What to Watch
All three altcoins show a similar picture: after a correction, each has approached an important zone where Fibonacci levels intersect. For the rally to continue, bulls need a daily close above these marks. For TAO, the key level is around $294; for ZEC, it's $533; and for WBT, the critical threshold is $56. If they fail to break through, a consolidation phase is likely.
My analysis shows that the current dynamics of these coins are not random. The volume-backed rally and approach to key Fibonacci levels indicate a high probability of continued movement, but only with a confident breakout. Investors should closely monitor daily closes — they will determine the next direction.
