Qblox, QuEra Computing, Quantum Machines, and Riverlane have joined the existing alliance with Intel, IQM, Quantinuum, and Rigetti. The goal is to create a full-fledged hybrid infrastructure where the HPE Cray supercomputing platform will work in tandem with quantum processors.
Architecture-Level Integration
The key challenge is not simply connecting quantum accelerators to classical systems, but ensuring deep integration. HPE plans to combine Cray's high-performance computing with quantum chips, qubit control systems, and advanced error correction algorithms.
