Acrab raised $350 million to build computing infrastructure for agentic AI.

Singapore-based startup Acrab has announced raising over $350 million in total funding. These funds are aimed at building specialized computing infrastructure for artificial intelligence agent systems. The company plans to allocate the capital toward developing its own platform, conducting research in computing architectures, expanding its partner network, and entering international markets.

From chips to operating systems

Founded in 2024, Acrab is developing a full-cycle computing architecture for AI. The startup's portfolio includes its own AI chips, solutions for local deployment of large language models (LLMs), operating systems, multimodal interfaces, and AI agent management technologies. The company's first platform, named GΞLIX, is specifically designed for local execution of LLMs in the context of agentic AI.

According to Acrab, GΞLIX has already been tested in real-world conditions and is in the final stage before its first industrial deployment and mass production launch. This indicates that the company is not merely engaged in theoretical development but is striving for rapid commercial deployment of its solutions.

Expert commentary: Raising $350 million at such an early stage is a powerful signal to the market. Acrab is betting on the decentralization of AI computing, which is critically important for the development of autonomous agents. If the GΞLIX platform can indeed deliver efficient local LLM execution, it could fundamentally change the market landscape, reducing dependence on cloud providers and accelerating the adoption of agent systems in the real economy.
