Singapore-based startup Acrab, founded in 2024, has announced raising over $350 million in total funding. These funds will be directed toward developing specialized computing infrastructure focused on agentic AI systems—autonomous software agents capable of independently making decisions and performing tasks.
Amid the rapid growth of the agentic AI market, where traditional cloud solutions often fail to meet latency and security requirements, Acrab offers a full-stack architecture. The project covers the creation of proprietary AI chips, systems for local deployment of large language models (LLMs), operating systems, multimodal interfaces, and agent management technologies.
