Singapore-based startup Acrab has raised $350 million to build infrastructure for agentic AI.

Singapore-based technology company Acrab has completed a funding round of over $350 million. The funds are earmarked for developing a new-generation computing infrastructure focused on agentic artificial intelligence systems. This is one of the largest rounds in this segment in recent quarters.

What will be built with this money

The raised capital will go toward creating a full-fledged platform, conducting research in computing architectures, expanding the partner network, and entering international markets. Acrab is betting on a vertically integrated solution that covers all levels — from specialized AI chips to operating systems and multimodal interfaces.

Founded in 2024, the startup has already unveiled its first platform called GΞLIX. It is designed for local deployment of large language models (LLMs) in agentic AI tasks. According to the team, the solution has undergone real-world stress testing and is now preparing for its first industrial implementation and subsequent mass production.

Why this matters for the market

Agentic AI is one of the hottest areas in the crypto and tech industries. Unlike traditional chatbots, agentic systems can independently execute complex chains of actions, interact with blockchains, and manage assets. However, their operation requires fundamentally different computing power, which existing cloud solutions often fail to provide.

My perspective: Raising such a significant amount of funding by a young startup from Singapore signals that institutional investors are seriously considering agentic AI infrastructure as the next major growth catalyst. If Acrab succeeds in bringing GΞLIX to mass production, it could shift the balance of power at the intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence, particularly in the DeFi and autonomous DAO segments.
