Singapore-based startup Acrab has raised $350 million to build next-generation AI infrastructure.

Singapore-based company Acrab, specializing in developing computing infrastructure for agentic artificial intelligence systems, has announced raising over $350 million in total funding. These funds will be directed toward creating a full-cycle platform, conducting research in computing architectures, expanding its partner network, and entering global markets.

Ambitious Plans and Key Directions

Founded in 2024, Acrab has already established itself as a serious player in the AI infrastructure space. The company is developing its own AI chips, systems for local deployment of large language models (LLMs), operating systems, multimodal interfaces, and AI agent management technologies. The startup's first product is the GΞLIX platform, designed for local execution of LLMs in agentic AI tasks.

According to the team, GΞLIX has already been tested in real-world conditions and is in the final stages of preparation for its first industrial deployment and mass production. This solution promises to fundamentally change the approach to deploying AI agents, delivering high performance and autonomy without the need for constant connection to cloud servers.

Expert Perspective

Acrab's success in attracting such significant funding is a clear indicator of the growing market interest in decentralized and local AI solutions. At a time when centralized cloud providers face challenges with scaling and data privacy, projects offering hardware independence are becoming particularly attractive. If Acrab successfully brings GΞLIX to market, it could be an important step toward democratizing access to computing power for agentic AI, potentially reshaping the entire crypto and AI ecosystem in the long term.
