Singapore-based startup Acrab has raised over $350 million to build computing infrastructure for agentic AI.

Singapore-based company Acrab, founded in 2024, has announced that it has secured over $350 million in total funding. These funds are aimed at developing high-performance computing infrastructure for agentic AI systems — a new generation of artificial intelligence capable of autonomously performing complex tasks.

Acrab's main focus is creating a full-cycle platform that includes its own AI chips, local deployment of large language models (LLMs), operating systems, multimodal interfaces, and AI agent management technologies. The company's first product is the GΞLIX platform, designed for local execution of LLMs in agentic AI tasks. According to the developers, the solution has already been tested in real-world conditions and is at the stage of preparation for its first industrial deployment and mass production.

The raised funds will allow Acrab to accelerate research in computing systems, expand its partner network, and enter international markets. Given the growing demand for autonomous AI agents in finance, logistics, and cybersecurity, the $350 million investment appears well-justified. However, the key challenge for the startup remains competition with giants like NVIDIA and Google, which already dominate the AI chip and cloud solutions segment.

Expert commentary: Acrab's success will depend not only on the technical specifications of GΞLIX but also on the company's ability to offer the market a unique combination of performance, energy efficiency, and ease of integration. If the startup can demonstrate a real reduction in costs for local LLM execution compared to cloud solutions, this will be a strong argument for corporate clients.
