Singapore-based company Acrab has announced raising total funding of over $350 million. These funds will be directed toward building computing infrastructure focused on artificial intelligence agent systems. This scale of investment indicates growing demand for specialized hardware solutions for autonomous AI agents.

Founded in 2024, Acrab is developing a full-cycle computing architecture: from proprietary AI chips to operating systems and multimodal interfaces. The startup's key product is the GΞLIX platform, designed for local deployment of large language models (LLMs) in agentic AI tasks. According to the developers, the solution has already been tested in real-world conditions and is at the stage of transitioning to its first industrial implementation and mass production.

The funds raised will allow Acrab to expand its research base in computing systems, strengthen partnerships, and enter international markets. Particular attention is paid to AI agent management technologies, which are becoming critically important in the context of decentralized finance and Web3 ecosystems.

My comment: Raising $350 million for a startup that has existed for less than a year is a clear signal that the market recognizes the need for specialized hardware for agentic AI. In the crypto industry, where autonomous agents are increasingly used for liquidity management and smart contract execution, local computing power could become a key factor in reducing latency and improving security. However, Acrab's success will depend on how quickly they can scale production and compete with giants like NVIDIA.
