Acrab has raised $350+ million to build computing infrastructure for agentic AI.

Singapore-based startup Acrab has announced raising a total of over $350 million in funding. These funds will be directed toward creating specialized computing infrastructure focused on agent-based artificial intelligence systems.

The company, founded in 2024, has already developed its own full-stack architecture. This includes specialized AI chips, solutions for local deployment of large language models (LLMs), operating systems, multimodal interfaces, as well as technologies for managing AI agents. The first platform, named GΞLIX, is specifically designed for local execution of LLMs in the context of agent-based AI.

According to statements from the Acrab team, the GΞLIX platform has already been tested in real-world conditions and is in the final stages of preparation for its first industrial deployment. The next phase involves mass production and entry into international markets. The funding received will also be used to expand the partner network and deepen research in the field of computing systems.

In my view, raising such significant capital at such an early stage (the startup is just over a year old) is a clear market signal: demand for specialized computing solutions for agent-based AI is growing exponentially. However, the key question remains Acrab's ability to scale production and compete with giants like NVIDIA in the AI chip segment.
