Acrab has raised over $350 million to build infrastructure for agentic AI.

Singapore-based startup Acrab has announced raising over $350 million in total funding aimed at developing computing infrastructure for artificial intelligence agent systems. These funds will be used to develop its own platform, conduct research in high-performance computing, expand its partner network, and enter global markets.

Full-cycle architecture

Founded in 2024, Acrab has already established itself as a developer of comprehensive computing architecture. This involves creating AI chips, local deployment of large language models (LLMs), operating systems, multimodal interfaces, and AI agent management technologies. The first platform, named GΞLIX, is designed for local execution of agent AI tasks, which is particularly relevant for applications requiring high confidentiality and low latency.

From testing to industrial deployment

According to the company, GΞLIX has already been tested in real-world conditions and is at the stage of preparation for its first industrial deployment and mass production. This suggests that Acrab is not merely developing theoretical concepts but is actively moving toward commercializing its solutions. Amid growing demand for specialized computing power for AI, this approach could give the startup a significant competitive advantage.

My comment: Raising such substantial funding at an early stage is a clear market signal that infrastructure solutions for agent AI are becoming a key trend. If Acrab succeeds in scaling GΞLIX, it could reshape the landscape not only in the AI sector but also in the decentralized computing segment, where Singaporean startups traditionally hold strong positions.
