Startup Acrab raised $350 million to build infrastructure for agentic AI

Singapore-based startup Acrab has announced raising over $350 million in total funding. These funds will be directed toward building computing infrastructure for artificial intelligence agent systems. The company plans to use the capital to develop its own platform, conduct research in computing solutions, expand its partner network, and enter international markets.

Full-cycle development

Acrab, founded in 2024, focuses on creating a full-cycle architecture. Its project portfolio includes AI chips, solutions for local deployment of large language models (LLMs), operating systems, multimodal interfaces, and AI agent management technologies. The company's first platform, named GΞLIX, is specifically designed for local LLM execution in agent AI tasks.

Validation and deployment

According to Acrab representatives, the GΞLIX solution has already been validated in real-world conditions. The platform is currently in the transition phase toward its first industrial deployment and mass production. This indicates a high level of technology readiness for commercial use.

Analytical commentary: Raising such significant funding at an early stage is an indicator of strong market interest in infrastructure solutions for agent AI. However, Acrab's success will depend not only on the technical characteristics of GΞLIX but also on the company's ability to build an efficient supply chain and carve out a niche among semiconductor industry giants. In the current environment of capacity shortages for AI computing, the focus on local model deployment could become a key competitive advantage.
