The Ethereum Foundation loses another top executive: co-executive director announces departure

Another significant personnel loss in the leadership of the Ethereum Foundation. Co-Executive Director Xiao-Wei Wang has officially announced her departure from both her post and the foundation's board. The decision was made after completing a sabbatical and, according to her, is related to a reassessment of personal priorities and life goals.
This is already the second major resignation in the upper echelons of Ethereum Foundation management in recent months. In February of this year, Tomasz Stańczak left a similar position, also stepping down from the role of co-executive director. In response to this loss, Bastian Aue was appointed as interim co-executive director.
Such a wave of departures inevitably raises questions about the internal stability and strategic vision of the foundation. The Ethereum Foundation is a key non-profit institution guiding the development of the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. The loss of two senior managers in a short period of time is a serious signal for the community.
Analysis and Conclusions
In my view, these personnel changes indicate a possible deep-seated reorganization process within the Ethereum Foundation. The community should closely monitor how the new management structure takes shape and who will fill the vacant positions. The transparency of these processes directly affects trust in Ethereum's long-term roadmap, especially ahead of major network upgrades. The departure of experienced figures like Wang and Stańczak represents a loss of institutional memory that will be difficult to replace.
