Ethereum Foundation loses another top manager: Xiao-Wei Wang leaves his post

Another significant personnel reshuffle within the Ethereum Foundation structure. The organization's co-executive director, Xiao-Wei Wang, has officially announced her departure from both the leadership team and the foundation's board. This decision was made after the completion of her sabbatical.
In an official statement, Wang emphasized that the reason for her departure was a reassessment of personal priorities. She did not disclose specific future plans, but noted that she will continue to monitor the development of the Ethereum ecosystem.
It is important to highlight that this is already the second case of a top manager leaving the Ethereum Foundation in recent months. In February, Tomasz Stańczak, who also held the position of co-executive director, left a similar role. Bastian Aue has been appointed as the temporary successor to this position.
From a market dynamics perspective, such changes in the leadership of one of the key institutions of the Ethereum ecosystem raise certain questions about the internal stability and strategic direction of the foundation. However, given the decentralized nature of Ethereum, it should be expected that the network's operational activities will not be affected.
Analytical Commentary: The departure of two co-executive directors within a short period of time is a signal that cannot be ignored. Although the Ethereum Foundation traditionally acts as a non-profit coordinator rather than a central governing body, such personnel rotations could delay decision-making on key protocol upgrades. The market should closely monitor how the new foundation management structure will be established.
