Qblox and HPE join forces to create hybrid computing systems

Dutch company Qblox, specializing in developing control systems for quantum processors, has officially announced a strategic partnership with technology giant Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Under this alliance, the parties intend to integrate Qblox's hardware with HPE's high-performance computing (HPC) clusters and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Key Areas of Collaboration
The joint work will focus on creating specialized test benches. These platforms are designed for testing algorithms, verifying software compatibility, and conducting system benchmarking of hybrid architectures that combine classical and quantum computers. The main goal is to accelerate the transition from theoretical research to practical applications, where quantum accelerators can effectively complement traditional CPUs and GPUs.
Special attention is given to solving the integration problem: quantum systems require extremely low temperatures and specific control, while HPC infrastructure operates in standard data centers. Qblox will provide its modular controllers capable of synchronizing qubit operations with classical computers, while HPE will contribute its expertise in optimizing network and computing resources.
