The market is on the verge of overheating: Analysis of liquidity inflow and correction risks

Over the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market has recorded a significant capital inflow. The total volume of deposits on major exchanges exceeded $1.2 billion, which is 34% higher than the daily average over the past week. This suggests that retail investors are entering an active accumulation phase, likely anticipating a continuation of the upward trend.

However, as my experience shows, a sharp increase in deposits often precedes local peaks. When the crowd starts massively moving funds in, it signals that "smart money" is already in position and preparing to take profits. What is particularly concerning is the concentration of the inflow: 78% of all deposits were in USDT and USDC. This is a classic sign that investors are waiting for an entry moment rather than simply hedging risks.

Looking at the distribution across blockchains, the Ethereum network led in deposit volume, accounting for 45% of all transactions. The Tron network (TRC-20) ranks second with 38%. Interestingly, activity on the Solana network has increased by 60% over the past 3 days, which may indicate preparations for the launch of new memecoins or DeFi protocols.

From an intraday dynamics perspective, the peak of deposits occurred between 14:00 and 18:00 UTC. This coincides with the start of the US trading session, traditionally considered one of the most volatile windows. The average deposit size was $4,200, higher than the average of $2,800 recorded at the beginning of the month. This suggests that not only small speculators but also more affluent participants are entering the market.

My professional analysis: the current liquidity inflow creates conditions for a short-term rally, but the probability of a correction within the next 48 hours is estimated at 65%. I recommend traders take partial profits when resistance levels are reached, and long-term holders use potential drawdowns to average their positions. The market is entering an overbought zone, and without a healthy correction, the upward movement will be unstable.
