Analysts predict LINK growth to $200: Chainlink as key tokenization infrastructure

RWA tokenization

My market analysis indicates that Chainlink (LINK) could become one of the main beneficiaries of the real-world asset (RWA) tokenization boom. Based on my assessments, grounded in the latest trends in institutional blockchain adoption, LINK's growth potential is approximately a 25-fold increase from current levels around $8, with a target of $200 by the end of 2030.

The key thesis here is Chainlink's role as critical infrastructure for tokenized assets. This is not just about a price forecast, but a fundamental shift in how traditional finance will interact with the on-chain ecosystem. The protocol is positioned as the "only end-to-end platform" capable of covering the entire lifecycle of tokenized assets—from issuance to compliance and cross-network interoperability.

Why LINK is not just an oracle

In my understanding, as assets move into on-chain format, the market will need three things: reliable external data, secure interoperability between networks, and tools for meeting regulatory requirements. Chainlink covers all these niches, which explains its appeal to giants like SWIFT, DTCC, Euroclear, JPMorgan, Mastercard, UBS, Fidelity, and S&P Global. These names already appear among users of the network's services, confirming institutional trust.

Chainlink's fee generation is expected to grow approximately 25-fold by the end of the decade. This is not a speculative scenario, but a logical consequence of the scaling RWA market. For context: the volume of RWAs on credit platforms and DEXs has already reached $7.4 billion in the second quarter, whereas a year earlier this figure stood at only $2.3 billion. Growth of nearly three times—and this is just the beginning.

Risks that cannot be ignored

However, my optimism does not mean a lack of skepticism. I highlight three key risks to this forecast:

  • A slowdown in the pace of institutional tokenization—if regulators or banks delay adoption, the timeline will shift;
  • Competition from specialized providers in individual segments—niche players could bite off a piece of the pie;
  • Technical or configuration failures that could undermine trust in the platform—in infrastructure projects, reputation is everything.

My conclusion: LINK is a bet on the macro trend of tokenization, not on short-term speculation. If institutions continue to increase their on-chain presence, Chainlink has every chance of becoming the de facto standard. But investors should factor volatility and a multi-year horizon into their strategy, rather than quarters.
