Toobit launches TIFT 2026: a team futures tournament with a prize pool of 3 million USDT.

Cryptocurrency derivatives remain the main driver of activity on centralized exchanges, but traditionally trading them has been a solo endeavor. To reverse this trend, platforms are increasingly introducing team formats, rankings, and reward systems, turning futures trading into a competitive sport. The latest twist in this race is the Toobit International Futures Tournament (TIFT) 2026, where the prize pool reaches 3 million USDT.

Racing mechanics and tournament structure

Registration for TIFT 2026 starts on August 12 at 1:00 PM Moscow time and will run until 12:59 PM Moscow time on August 19. You can join a team until 1:00 PM Moscow time on September 9, and the team and individual championships themselves will take place from August 19 to September 9. The Race to Victory block with tasks will remain open for the entire period. Participants will have to choose one of three "racing tracks" — Street Sprint, Turbo Challenge, or Nitro Grand Prix, each offering its own level of difficulty and resources: Fuel, Octane, or Nitro, respectively.

Interestingly, Toobit links futures trading volume to deposits, spot trading, copy trading, event contracts, and yield products. For example, beginners on the Street Sprint track only need to make their first futures trade, top up their account with 30 USDT or more, or invite a friend. More advanced traders on the Nitro Grand Prix earn Nitro for daily volume targets from 500,000 to 5 million USDT, as well as for large deposits and investments in Earn, Futures Grid, or Futures DCA.

Team standings and prize distribution

A key feature of TIFT is the team standings based on the average profit and loss (P&L) of the ten best participants. Six teams — Turbo Titans, Volatility Raiders, Leverage Legends, Margin Mavericks, Apex Dominion, and Token Torque — compete for a share of the prize pool. Each team gives 30% of its rewards to its top ten traders, while the remaining 70% is distributed among participants who have accumulated at least 30,000 USDT in futures volume, with a cap of 2% per person.

The 3 million USDT prize pool is distributed as follows: up to 840,000 USDT for Race to Victory, up to 1.5 million USDT for the team championship, and 600,000 USDT for the individual championship. Another 50,000 USDT is allocated for early registration bonuses and 10,000 USDT for social media activity. The team fund grows along with the total futures volume: it starts at 60,000 USDT with a combined 200 million USDT and reaches a maximum of 1.5 million USDT at the 20 billion USDT mark. First place receives 25% of the fund, second place 22%, third place 18%, and the remainder is divided among the three remaining teams.

Expert perspective

The racing theme of TIFT is not just a marketing gimmick. Formula 1 attracted 827 million fans in 2025, with 43% of them under 35 years old, and the trading volume of perpetual contracts on the ten largest CEXs reached $12.7 trillion in the second quarter of 2026. Toobit successfully combines these trends: competitive mechanics boost engagement, while the link to real trading actions encourages users to explore new products.

However, let me remind you: futures are a financial instrument with leverage, and high leverage increases the risk of liquidation. Participating in a tournament should not replace your usual risk management, especially when rankings push toward more active trading. Market makers and sub-accounts do not participate in the tournament, and a minimum of 50 USDT on the futures account is required to enter the rankings. The results of TIFT 2026 will be the first test of how well such racing mechanics can sustain trader interest throughout the entire event.
