Toobit launches TIFT 2026: a team futures tournament with a prize pool of 3 million USDT.

Derivatives have long been a key driver of activity on centralized crypto exchanges, yet trading traditionally remains an individual pursuit. To change this dynamic, platforms are increasingly introducing team formats, rankings, and reward systems, turning futures trading into a true competition. Toobit is taking a bold step in this direction by announcing the launch of the 2026 Toobit International Futures Tournament (TIFT).

Registration for the tournament opens on August 12, with the campaign's total prize pool reaching an impressive 3 million USDT. Rewards will be distributed through team and individual standings, draws for completing tasks, bonuses for early registration, and social media activity. This approach not only stimulates trading activity but also fosters a spirit of healthy competition around derivatives, which is essential for attracting a new audience.

Racing mechanics and three tracks for different levels

The tournament concept is inspired by the world of motorsport, which is especially relevant amid the growing popularity of Formula 1. In the 2025 season, this championship attracted 827 million fans worldwide, with 43% of them under 35 years old. Toobit brings this competitive dynamic into the crypto space, offering participants three racing tracks within the Race to Victory block: Street Sprint, Turbo Challenge, and Nitro Grand Prix. Each track is designed for traders with different levels of experience and trading volumes, collecting unique resources — Fuel, Octane, and Nitro — that unlock access to prize draws.

Street Sprint is aimed at beginners, offering simple tasks such as the first futures or spot trade, as well as a deposit of at least 30 USDT. Turbo Challenge imposes higher requirements on deposits and trading volume, while Nitro Grand Prix is designed for the most active participants with daily futures targets ranging from 500,000 to 5 million USDT. Prizes range from branded Formula 1 team caps and LEGO sets to a trip to the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix with flights and accommodation included.

Team standings and prize pool structure

A key feature of TIFT is the team standings. Participants choose one of six teams: Turbo Titans, Volatility Raiders, Leverage Legends, Margin Mavericks, Apex Dominion, or Token Torque. Team rankings are based on the average percentage profit and loss of the top ten participants, encouraging both individual results and collective activity. Teams can change during the tournament, but accumulated volume is reset.

The 3 million USDT prize pool is distributed as follows: up to 840,000 USDT for Race to Victory, up to 1.5 million USDT for the team championship, and 600,000 USDT for individual standings. The team pool grows alongside the total futures trading volume, starting at 60,000 USDT when 200 million USDT is reached and reaching the full 1.5 million USDT at the 20 billion USDT mark. Winners will receive 25%, 22%, and 18% of the pool for the top three places respectively, with the remaining 35% distributed among other teams.

Such gamified formats are becoming increasingly common on crypto exchanges seeking to retain users amid fierce competition. However, it is important to remember that behind the visual appeal of the tournament lie real financial risks. High leverage increases the likelihood of liquidation, so even when chasing top rankings, risk management should not be neglected. TIFT 2026 is an ambitious attempt to combine entertainment and trading, but its success will depend on whether participants can maintain discipline amid competitive excitement.
