As part of the partnership, next-generation models, including GPT-5.6, as well as specialized solutions Codex and ChatGPT Work, will be embedded directly into the consulting platform IBM Consulting Advantage. This step dramatically expands the platform's functional capabilities, allowing IBM clients to access the most advanced tools for analysis, automation, and content generation without needing to build complex technical integrations themselves.
A key element of the deal will be the creation of a dedicated OpenAI Practice division within IBM. This is not just a formal structure, but a strategic center of excellence that will focus on adapting AI solutions to the specific needs of large enterprises. Moreover, IBM plans a large-scale training program: thousands of consultants will undergo certification within the OpenAI Partner Network, ensuring a high level of expertise in the implementation and support of AI projects for clients.
