The market for tokenized stocks has exploded: the number of holders has more than doubled in a month

The real-world asset (RWA) tokenization sector is experiencing an unprecedented surge in activity. Over the past 30 days, the number of unique addresses holding tokenized stocks has jumped by 124%, reaching 1.31 million. This is not just a statistical anomaly—it is a clear signal of a structural shift in how institutional and retail investors perceive digital securities.
Particularly telling is the growth in transfer volume: over the month, it increased by nearly 180%, reaching $23.13 billion. At the same time, the number of active addresses grew by a more modest 34.6%, to 572,000. This disproportion suggests that not only is the participant base expanding, but the activity of large players, who operate with substantial sums, is also intensifying significantly.
Market capitalization grows, but cautiously
The total distributed value of digitized securities increased by 5.9%, reaching $2.38 billion. At first glance, this may seem like moderate growth against the explosive dynamics in the number of holders. However, this is precisely where the key analytical nuance lies: the influx of new addresses and record transfer volumes have not yet led to a proportional revaluation of assets. This could mean that the market is in a phase of active accumulation, when investors take positions in anticipation of a more significant price movement.
In my analysis, the current dynamics confirm the thesis that stock tokenization has ceased to be a niche experiment. Doubling the number of holders in such a short period is not a speculative bubble but a fundamental adoption of the technology. If growth rates persist, we may see the market consolidate around new liquidity standards, which will inevitably attract the attention of traditional exchange operators.
